Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth.

In this final chapter of the epic sci-fi trilogy, mordin chose to sacrifice himself to complete the administering of a serum in a burning tower, so that Shepard and the rest of his team could escape to safety.

The serum was then dispersed from the top of the tower to all off planet Tuchanka , to cure the fertility problems of another alien race called the krogans.

  

Centuries earlier , the intellectual Salarians with extreme metabolism and short lifespans had created the biological weapon called the genophage, which severely reduced the child-bearing capabilities of all krogan females.

This was done to stem the unabated population explosion of the war – like tribe of giant lizards.

The krogans were determined  to  take  over the world by force , and the salarians created the genophage to stop them.

A Krogan warlord declared himself the saviour of his race to take command of the bickering korgan warlords , As commander  Shephard , I had no choice but to play a long as I needed all the races, including the Krogans , to unite to face the powerful Reapers, an ancient race that had returned to wipe out the entire universe.    Having returned to the galaxy after a 50,000 year hiatus, the Reapers conduct an all-out assault on the galaxy's organic life. Earth itself suffers heavy bombardment as Mass Effect 3 begins, with millions suffering and dying daily. Your task: fight back, not only for Earth and humanity, but for all galactic races that find themselves simultaneously under siege.

This sci-fi universe storyline , complete with eye-popping computer-animated movie cat scenes that make Mass effect 3 stand out from the video game crowd.The graphics are much improved since that last  edition and the animation  look very realistic, all the major characters of the first two game will make a come back, - some in cameo appearances  , with some  as part of the crew to accompany you into battle.

Shepard and his allies aren't nearly strong enough to combat the Reapers' planet-sacking death squads on their own. The earlier Mass Effect games focused on exploring the galaxy as you complete quests, building up your reputation and ultimately careening headlong into the endgame. Mass Effect 3 has all of that too, and it's all conducted through the lens of truly consequential, wide-ranging decision-making. This brings yet again an exceptionally plot-heavy slant to a series already deeply reliant on amazing story-telling.

The Reapers pose an existential threat to life in the galaxy, forcing Shepard to navigate through tricky territory wrought with age-old grudges, conflicts and old-fashioned hatred in order to get all affected parties to work together .

 Conflicts  exist everywhere. The challenge before Shepard lies in his ability to get all of these races -- and many others -- allied in order to fight the Reapers as one united front. This represents the galaxy's only hope in defeating their overwhelmingly powerful adversaries.

Gamer  may choose to play Soldier, infiltrator, Adept, Engineer, Vanguard or Sentinel.

With   the default soldier class as you want to be able to mess around with the tons of guns , play an Adept and you are limited to submachine – guns and pistols , the real fun is with the long-range sniper rifles, high-damage shotguns and the best all-round weapon, the assault rifle.

There are multiple variants within each gun class, eachwith it own level of recoil, damage capability, ammo capacity and accuracy.

 Do not worry if you aim is bad soldiers have a unique power called Adrenaline.

Rush, which slows down everything else for about five seconds, giving players time to perfect that one-hit-to-kill  headshot.

Importing for a character from mass Effect 2 is an advantage as it lets you stars off a much higher level.

The choices you made in mass effect 1 and 2 actually effect the storyline in mass effect 3, so if you let wrex die in the first game, you get to deal with his rather belligerent brother Wreav instead of Wrex.

 The first two games were both excellent but developer BioWare has really ended the trilogy with a bang and made mass effect the seminal title for video games, like what star Wars did for the silver screen.
