Must Have iPad Games

There are already enough games taking advantage of the iPad 1,024-pixel.resolution touchscreen to create organic play interface and  visual  thrill  with  using new tablet  technology  now also  called the iPad Gamer

The  following  are must-have for any iPad users recommend   for those  who get easily bored.

MultiPong for Ipad

The HD graphic designs and the ultra-realistic physical engine will make you feel like playing on an real wooden board.  As an organic makeover of the old Atari Pong , it is gorgeous with snappy metallic paddles, wood panelling and shiny metal balls.
UP to four can play, with each defending his goal post and scoring power-ups to gain an advantage. Even thought there were four of us madly swiping away, the game took everything in its stride without signs of any lag. Take advantage of opponents who score the reserve paddle power-up by attacking them relentlessly.

One finger to control your paddle. Give your ball smooth effects and thwart the traps to win the game !
In Multiplayer mode, catch the bonuses, use the bumpers and beat your opponents.
In Solo mode, try to beat A.I computer and defeat Mr Monster, from standard skin to 8bits skin, or try to beat your score and share it through the Game Center.

Plants Vs Zombies HD

The iPad version features the entire adventure mode as well as quick play mode which is unlockable after completion of adventure. The game takes full advantage of the touch interface, and size of the iPad giving you those absurd zombies and plants in great detail. Thankfully mini-games and survival mode are included adding to replayability, but only half of survival is included, and puzzle and Zen garden are left out completely. . There are 18 mini-games including the iPad specific buttered popcorn.

Six levels of survival mode are included, and there are 17 local achievements. The game features 11 multi-touch points. Plus there are the old stand-bys of 50 levels in adventure, 26 types of zombies, and 49 plants. I use all my fingers on the screen to pick, plant and dig against a wacky array of zombies, the game is hilarious and replay value is great with 18 mini game , a survival mode and achievement badges to collect.
Know your type of  plants and load up on energy sources early (sunflowers and sun-shrooms ) it is especially useful for deviously difficult mini-games like ‘’bobsled bonanza’’ where the actions is frenzied and you need to blocks fast while you prep your garden against rapid fire onslaughts.

Football HD

it is classic foosball action here though there are only three rows of players to control. Instead of the traditional 1-2-5-3 foosball formation , you get 1-3-2 play against the Ipad or a friend
Ball control is though with the virtual poles especially when up against the maniac speed of the tablet’s computers at the hardest setting.
The game   provide all the features of a regular foosball table. There is single player against the computer or two player on the same iPad. There are three bars to control, and you can slide them, and spin them.

The controls  will definitely take awhile to get used to. You will never feel as in control as using a real table, Once you get the hang of it you will be able to pass the ball from one offensive player to the other, and hit in the goal quicker than the opponent can move their goalie . Moving and spinning your three different bars will become second nature, though be prepared for a steep learning curve. Since there are three bars of players you will only be able to control two of them, and the best way are your two index fingers.  Do not spin the poles, the board is too small and if you do, it can result in a own goal. Though it is not mentioned , up to six can play with everyone in control of one pole. Foosball HD gives you a digital version of the physical table as close as it could be to the real thing. With that said, it’s still much more tedious than the real thing, but presents fun in its own way

Mirror’s Edge

In a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called Runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed and now you are being hunted.

You are a Runner called Faith - and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story.
With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith’s world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous. Live or die? Soar or plummet? One thing is certain, in this city, you will learn how to run
Imagine a world where communication channels are highly monitored and the movement of human traffic is closely watched. Mirror's Edge introduces you to Faith, a "runner" in this world. When Faith's sister gets framed for a murder she did not commit, Faith finds herself on the edge of the city, on the wrong side of the law.
Mirror's Edge delivers you straight into the shoes of this modern day heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat, fast-paced chases and challenging puzzles. With a never-before-seen sense of movement and perspective, you are drawn into Faith's world.
It is all about getting from point A to B in the shortest possible time.
Things will get increasingly more frenzied when obstacles come at you hard and fast. It is not a very difficult game, but be prepared from some puzzlers.
Do practice is all it takes there is little combat and you get unlimited re-tries For trouble spots, memorise where they are an swipe them away like the champ you are.

Labyrinth 2 HD

The game looks amazing on the iPad whether it’s the brand new levels or even the old iPhone levels.
This really takes advantage of the iPad screen real estate and accelerometer, Tilt to control the ball through a maze that is rigged with all manner of booby traps from magnets, merry-go-rounds, pinball bumpers and laser tripwires.

The 3D tilting effect is even more pronounced on the iPad adding to the overall felling of holding the actual wooden game in your hands. All of the levels are packed with detail with each object so well done from the sheen on the ball to the lasers and cannons.
A tilting game on the iPad is a big question mark, but really it all depends on the calibration.

The online level editor allows for nearly infinite replay ability as there are always new levels to download after you complete all the Illusion Labs ones (nearly 150). If you have friends with iPads then you can play some multiplayer which is enjoyable, but limits the potential matches.
As usual Illusion Labs knows how to fine tune these Apple devices. It seems like you’re actually holding the wooden Labyrinth board in your hands.Play steady hands, to beat the maze time,  keep a lookout for shortcuts like a narrow band of space between two holes. It is tough to negotiate, but it can shave your timing by half.

Words With Friends HD
Words With Friends is a crossword game that lets you play up to 20 games simultaneously, with your friends or random palyers and inform  you when it’s your turn.

It’s like Scrabble, but you play your turn when you’re ready. It is  definitely far better than the official Scrabble game, this game lets you show off your lexicography prowess to vocabulary-challenged friends.
It has a different layout from Scrabble , but the same gameplay and strategy apply. Rack up points on the board and trash talk your opponent using the built-in chat feature.
You can play against friends or strangers over the internet or face-off in the real world by passing the iPad back and forth.

The large screen makes it easier to place tiles and fumble with you rack for your next killer word.
The HD version has the same gameplay functionality as its sibling but with an entirely redesigned interface especially for the iPad’s far superior screen. The iPad version will get all of your account information from the iPhone version and the game will be compatible between both. This means even if your best friend hasn’t managed to get themselves an iPad, you can still beat them   to your hearts content. As it a turn-based game with a generous time-limit literally days- you can take your time. For beginners, try playing an attrition game by placing game words, lengthwise, alongside your opponent’ so form lots of two-letter words, this is an effective block and may force them to play a word that will open up a premium box for you.
